Sprinkler Fun

i don't want to put a pool on our new grass until it gets established, so i went and bought the kids a sprinkler. they loved it! the boy was a little timid, but shorty girl, in her true style, jumped right in. she was (literally) running laps around the sprinkler laughing and singing. they had a great time being outside and i had fun taking their pictures.

i love watching them have fun....











our house is looking more and more like our home. we are getting things put on the wall (all our family pictures) which is helping me feel more at home. i still look around this house and think it's not mine. but, as we put more of our things up, it is starting to feel like our home.

on a side note, my brother todd broke his collar bone in 2 places and is having sugery on wednesday. they are putting a plate and 4 screws in. he was trying to rescue a kitten from a tree and fell out. don't worry - the kitten is safe. (or he was playing a game of kickball with coworkers and fell as he was running to home base. i like the first version better...) he is in good spirits (thanks to the pain pills!). my dad is flying in tomorrow so he can take him to the doctor and i am going up there for moral support on wednesday. how heroic (or clumsy) my brother is..... so if you can send him some well wishes his way that the sugery goes well i would appreciate it. so would the kitten.
