Sea World and the weird things my kids say........

we went to sea world today and had a blast. we spent most of the time in shamu's happy harbor and the kids spent most of the time screaming (good screams, not bad).

during the lizard show (a.k.a the white whale and dolphin show) the kids got a choice between popcorn and kitty kitty (cotton candy). they chose the later. and they throughly enjoyed it.

no trip to seaworld would be complete without going on the up and down ride. it used to be the shamu show, but i think the boy is getting tired of it. (thank goodness......)

and, just because they were extra cute today...

so, my kids say really weird things. the boy is really into Madagascar 2, so that is wehre some of the references come from.

Scene: we are sitting in the backyard and teh kids are plaing in the sprinker. the boy comes up to my mother in law and says "hey grandma - wanna fight?" (from madagascar.)

Scene: i am upstairs in my bedroom with richard and shorty girl. i ask richard where he put the hairties that were on my nite stand and he says in the drawer in the bathroom. shorty girl says "thank you to putting the hairties in the drawer in the potty". just plain cute.

Scene: we are getting ready to go to sea world and tell the kids where we are going. the boy gets super excited and says "thank you for thanksgiving mommy!"

Scene: we are coming home from sea world today and shorty girl falls asleep in the car. the boy starts talking really loudly and richard has to reprimand him a few times, telling him to be quiet. the boy starts up again being super loud (reciting lines from madagascar) and i turn around and say "boy, shush" in which he quickly replies "mommy shush - shorty girl is sleeping".

i am sure a lot of these situations you probably had to be there to get the full effect, but to me - it was pretty damn funny.
