Christmas in the Park

every year around this time, the city of schertz has a festival of angels 'thing'. it starts off with a nite parade (last nite) which was a lot of fun.....except that it was 79 degrees outside!!! then, today (saturday), they have Christmas in the park. they bring in 'snow', have a tractor ride for the kids, had food, and a band playing holiday songs. it was CHAOTIC. crazy is a better word for it. the snow area was small, so not many kids could go in there at once. but, believe me - they tried. then, someone (an adult, mind you) got the great idea to spray 'snow' into the air over all the little children playing in the snow. the 'snow' was actually ice....so basically they were pelting a lot of kids (and adults) with ice. kaenen got hit in the head, and he was done. he cried and wanted nothing more to do with the snow. sidney, on the other hand, had a great time, so i guess it was worth it. we also got a great picture of kaenen and sidney with santa - again, that made it worth while.
