we just got back from our thanksgiving trip. me and the kids flew up to my mom's house in lees summit, mo. it was a really fun trip. the kids did super good on the airplanes (2) and enjoyed 'flying high in the sky with the clouds'.
my parents bought the kids a HUGE doll house to play with. it is 3 stories tall with an elevator!!! all their toys made themselves at home there for the duration of our stay.
uncle jarret and uncle todd were there as well. they did a great job of keeping the kids entertained and plum tuckered out, which was wonderful!!
kansas city has a great zoo. me, the kids, jarret and my dad all went there for a nice afternoon. the weather was perfect. cold, but perfect!
we also spent a lot of time outside. i had to layer them out because it was COLD! we sported many different looks....
we had gotten a bunch of bread to make stuffing. i was showing shorty girl how to break it up into little pieces and throw it into the bowl. she caught on super quick and went to town. i brought the boy over to show him how to do it. first, he just broke the bread in half. then he just peeled the crust off. then, he just sat down and started eating the bread. HE ATE 6 SLICES!! such a little stinker!
well, there is a recap of our trip. i have a ton more pictures (i took 303!) but i am pooped! hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!
