Devine Pumpkin Extravaganza!

we went to an awesome pumpkin patch today with the kids and my mom. the weather was perfect and the kids loved it! there was so much for everyone to do, and we did most of it!

first off the kids picked out and painted a pumpkin.







then they went on a kettle car tractor ride. my mom joined in on the fun!





after the kettle tractor ride, we ate lunch. for dessert - roasted marshmallows!












after lunch, it was time to go through the hay maze!











after the maze, we headed over to the hay ride. geesh - there was A LOT of hay around! it is still stuck to us!









covered in hay, we went to feed the goats. shorty girl was very timid at first and wouldn't touch them. but after a few minutes she warmed right up and did great! the boy was so good, he was feeding two goats at once!











shorty girl got to go fishing for the first time. daddy showed her how to 'bait' her hook (with corn) and 'cast' the line. she wasn't too thrilled when she caught her first fish - the boy was a little jumpy too when the fish squirmed around!











we ended the day with a wonderful family picture ending a wonderful family day.
