my goofy kids

happy saturday everyone! after a stressful week, i am determined to have a fun, relaxing weekend. we went out today and bought a ceiling fan for the new house. it is so much fun buying new things for a new house! i am still not 100% convinced that our house will actually be built in our lifetime considering all the delays, but i am keeping my fingers crossed.

the kids have had a good week! they are both talking so much more - at dinner the other nite shorty girl told me "mama - i a goofball!".

here is a conversation i had with the boy today in the Lowe's bathroom.
Me: are you done going pee pee?
Boy: yes mama.
Me: ok, now it's my turn (pull down pants to pee)
Boy: mama!! you got new underwear?!?!?!?
Me: no honey, they are not new.
Boy: are they christmas underwear? (i hear a chuckle from the next stall)
Me: no honey, they are just pink underwear.
Boy: (as loud as he can be) mama has pink underwear!!!!!!!
Me: yes boy, i have pink underwear.

again, a chuckle from the next stall. sigh.
