i voted today. with a 3 year old and a 2 year old. we stood in line for about 45 minutes. i didn't get the chance to vote early (ok, i forgot) so we went today at about 7:05am and there was already a line. i called richard to see if he could sit with the kids in the car, but he got a call, so it was just us. they did really well. shorty girl was constantly commenting on the man behind us about his clothes while the boy was just people watching. so, after waiting 45 minutes, it is finally our turn. right as we get up to the front of the line, the boy says, very loudly i might add, "MAMA - I HAVE TO GO PEE PEE RIGHT NOW!!!!!". shit. the nice old lady who was working the election said i could run him to the restroom and then get back in line. old people rock. so, i run him to the potty, he does his business and then i go vote. while i was voting, they sat down right next to me and were very quiet! all in all, it was good.
