Happy Birthday Hoggs!

today is sid's 7th birthday. 7!?!?!?!?! sid was my 'first' baby. i was there from preconception to birth to the present. i watched as his mother and father raised him, often times helping as well. i have been spit up on, pooped on, and peed on by him. i saw his first step as well as heard his first word. i lived with him for the first 2 and 1/2 years of his life and when i moved out - it was hardest saying goodbye to him (even though i was only moving 5 minutes down the road). i learned how to change a diaper, take a temperature, make and feed him a bottle, make him laugh and stop him from crying. sid introduced me to the world of motherhood, and for that - i am eternally grateful to him. i also want to say thank you to his mom and dad for letting me be such a big part of his life. sid and i have so much in common - from our love of music all the way down to our acid reflux. he is a wonderful role model to shorty and the boy and they love him tremendously. he has proven to be an awesome big brother to my kids as well as his new little sister. sid has such a great smile and such a tender heart. when he is angry - he will definately let you know! but, when he loves you, everyone can see it. so, to you little hoggs, remember that i will always love you and be your lala. happy birthday.
