shorty girl put her babies to sleep right before her nap.........so cute!
we had a very busy weekend! here it is in a snapshot...
*the boy had his 3 year pics taken at kiddie kandids - took about 2 hours
*we bought him his birthday present (the john deere gator) -only took about 1.5 hours
*bought shorty girl some shoes for her finalization (in riot-like conditions at stride rite)
*tried to find shoes for the boy, but conditions were not fair....(see above)
*grandma bought a canopy for our backyard for the boy's party (found shoes for the boy in non-riot-like conditions)
*went to walmart to go shopping for the boy's party, again, in riot-like conditions.
*cleaned house in preparation for family's arrival this week
*cut and edged the grass (that was richard's only job this weekend)
*watched some of the olympics
there ya have it. see - even elmo and ellie are plum tuckered out from this weekend. BUT - shorty girl's finalization is only 5 days away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't WAIT until she is officially ours and our life can resume some sense of normalcy (don't think that's spelled right). no more paperwork, meetings, house visits.....she will be all ours!!!!

YAY!!! She'll be all yours, but you'll proabably still have to shop in riot-like conditions!! LOL!! Wal-mart is always like that, no matter when you go.I've about given up on going there.
We experienced some riot-like conditions at our Stride Rite this weekend, too. It was pure he!!. Especially with 2 bored little boys. Ugh!
