Sorry it's been so long.......

but we have been busy around here! i had a 2 day training this week, last week we had 2 classes to take at the children's shelter, still trying to get everything finalized with shorty's adoption (but i think it is going to be august 15th!!!), as well as STILL trying to catch up on laundry and housework from our vacation to see my parents.

for those of you who don't know, my friend jeanette and i have started a business called All 'Bout Autism. we do in home ABA therapy for children with autism. we have been very busy getting that set up as well, since we have new clients! we have been creating contracts, fees, invoices.......it has been a lot of work! we did our first evaluation on a little guy who i will be working with tonite. it was fun! jeanette and i have been talking about this business for awhile, and now that we are actually doing it - it is really cool. we hope that it will grow into our own clinic or school with a lot of kids!

in between all of that, we have been chilling around the house because it is 497 degrees outside. lots of swimming and popscicles. the boy is doing great with potty training - in fact, i would say that he is 100% trained with pee, but poop....that is another story. we have had to up the bribes to get him to poop in the potty. the train set you see in the picture was bribe number 1 (it was a birthday gift from last year that i hadn't opened yet - those come in sooo handy!). bribe number 2? a car when he turns 16.
