Two Kids, One Doctor

i love our new pediatrician. is that spelled right???

anyway, they are so helpful and always schedule shorty and kaenen together for appointments. we went today to get shorty's ear re-checked to make sure the infection is gone, and to get kaenen checked out and have a lead test done.

shorty - she gained another pound or so! the doc said her infection is gone, but there is still some fluid in her ear, which is common. we have to go back in a month to have that checked out.

kaenen - the rain really messes with kaenen's allegeries, so yesterday he was not feeling good. he coughed a bit last nite, and greeted me at 530am by saying 'hi mama!' and then preceeded to throw up on me. nice. he went back to bed with me and when we woke up, he didn't want to eat, which is NOT normal for him. so, we layed on the couch for awhile and he seemed to get better. he ended up eating a bowl of dry cheerios and a bananna. the doc said he is fine, probably just allegeries. when we did the lead test (the pricked his finger) he cried more as she was getting ready then when they actually pricked him. hopefully, the results will be good.

we were at the doc's office for over an hour. my kids are the BEST BEHAVED KIDS I HAVE EVER SEEN. not a tear, whine, or scream. well, other than the lead test......they played, entertained the other people there (they seem to make friends where ever they go), and were perfect. boy, am i lucky or what...........
