Happy Easter!

i can't believe easter is already here. the easter bunny dropped off his loot right after the kids went to bed. it is supposed to be crappy weather tomorrow - hopefully not to bad so we can do a egg hunt outside.

my mom's flight on friday was cancelled due to snow in milwalke (weird, i know). so, she is here until monday. it's nice that she can spend easter with us.

we went to natural bridge wildlife ranch this week. the kids had a great time looking at all the animals up close (check out on flickr). i think they had more fun running around the car though......we took out their carseats so they could see the animals better. it was damn expensive, but a lot of fun.

tomorrow is the first holiday we are celebrating with shorty. this past week she has experienced a lot of 'firsts' with us - riding a pony, going to seaworld, petting a zebra.......it makes me a little sad that i missed all of her real firsts - her first smile, first step, first word. but, seeing her smile when she sees totally makes up for it.
