a chilly monday

texas has the weirdest weather. right now, it is sunny (but it just stopped raining), windy, and like 46 degrees! crazy.

we had a good weekend. we took shorty to the doctor last week to get some rash looked at, and found out that she had an ear infection. she had no symptoms - no fever, pulling at her ear - nothing. but, since she has been on antibotics, she has been sleeping much better. so much so that we put kaenen back into his room. i have my own room again!! well, i have to share with richard, but i am working on that. yesterday was the first day that they slept in the same room and they did great. they played and giggled for about 10 mintues and then fell asleep.

we went to jami's house on saturday and a closet door came crashing down and hit kaenen and sidney on the head. tramatic and scary, but everyone is ok. never a dull moment.........

oh - when i took shorty to the doctor the first time (february 20th) she weighed 25.2 lbs. when i took her back (february 28th) she weighed 27.6lbs. she gained 2.5 lbs in 8 days!! i have noticed that her little legs are getting more muscular. we go outside 2 times a day and they run around like crazy inside the house, so i am not suprised that she is toning up.

gotta go finish laundry. whoever says SAHM's have it easy needs to spend a day with me.
