It's a.....................GIRL!!!!!

after more than 6 months of waiting for a match from the children's shelter, it finally came!!! we got the call on thursday that we had been chosen to adopt a little girl! i have very limited information, but here is what we do know.


ethnicity - hispanic!!!! she will look like kaenen!!!

hopefully we can meet her next week! it will be a transition process before she comes to live with us full time, and i am not sure how that will happen. hopefully we will get more information on monday. our caseworker is waiting for her caseworker to set up meeting times and dates.

i have been in a daydream since thursday. for those of you who were around when we tried to adopt kyah (yes, we realize the closeness of the names) there is ABSOUTELY NO WAY ANYONE CAN COME AND EITHER TAKE HER BACK OR ADOPT HER. she is ours!!! it is amazing to love someone so much even though you have never seen them. i guess that is what it's like to be pregnant and loving your baby even before it's born.

as soon as i get more information, i will post. and of course, as soon as i get a picture, i will post. we have so much to do - i just can't wait to meet her!!!!!!!!!
