Third Day Home

Well, we had a great first day at home - he slept most of the day (and of course, pooped a lot too...our NEAT! Diaper disposal thing works great!) The second day both Richard and I over-reacted and took him to the doctor because he wouldn't stop crying. Turns out that it was my fault - he woke up that morning at 900 and didn't go back to sleep until 500 .I started to play with him all over the house - I put him in the swing, the bouncer, showed him books, toys, the list goes on. So, our doctor told us just to take it easy and allow him time to get used to his new surroundings. Ok - first mommy mistake. Today (Wednesday) and last nite was much better - he actually slept for most of the nite in his bassinet. Richard and I are also a in a better mood - we each got to sleep for about 4 hours. Crazy - just 3 days ago I was complaining that I was only sleeping for 8 hours, and now 4 seems like forever!
